Nokia N900, a multitasking smartphone


Nokia N900 is different from other smartphone. Most disturbing feature of a smartphone is that most of them are not supporting multitasking, which means, if you want to browse more then one task simultaneously you can’t, but Nokia N900 is supporting multitasking. Nokia N900 is just like a computer. The N900 comes with a large WVGA touchscreen with a slider and a landscape-oriented keyboard.

It’s high-resolution of 800x480 pixels way more than the iPhone's same-sized screen. N900's spec sheet has the same highlights as the N97, including a 5MP camera and 32GB storage, a new Linux-based Maemo 5 operating system.

Adobe Flash 3D version coming up

Adobe is scheduling to release a 3D version of its well-liked Flash software, allowing videos and games to be played in 3D online.

The Adobe Max conference is coming up in October. The main agenda for the conference take account of a presentation titled "Flash Player 3D future".

The Adobe product manager, Thibault Imbert, has confirmed in a blog post that it there will be support for 3D applications in a future Flash version.

His post in full said, "If you are into 3D enlargement for games, increased reality or just interactive stuff like websites, you just can’t miss the session entitled Flash Player 3D future planned for Max 2010 scheduled on October 27 at 11:00AM in room 503. Flash Player engineer, Sebastian Marketsmueller, will deep dive into the next generation 3D API coming Flash Player in a future version.

"Now you may wonder, what do this means, what kind of 3D are we talking about? What kind of API? True textured z-buffered triangles? GPU acceleration? Even better? We’ll share after the launch.

Electricity demonstrated in potato

Bhapa Doi Recipe: Bengali Recipes

Bhapa Doi is a tasty Bengali sweet. Let’s learn how to prepare/make Bhapa Doi.


Preparation time : 15 minutes

Cooking time : 2 hour

Difficulty : easy

Recipe type : veg.

Serve : 5


Ingredients:

  • 400 g Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 10 Almonds (peeled and blanched)
  • 15 Pistachios (peeled and blanched)
  • 15 Raisins
  • 1 cup Thick Yogurt (whisked)


Let’s prepare/make Bhapa Doi:

  • Take adequate water in a pressure cooker and heat it.
  • In a thin steel pan, take the condensed milk, milk and yogurt to it and mix well.
  • Add raisins, almonds and pistachios to the milk and mix well.
  • Cover the pan with cling wrap and seal it all around leaving a few slashes on top.
  • Put the pan in the cooker and vapour cook it with the cover on for 45 to 50 minutes.
  • Leave it from the cooker and let it cool down.
  • Better to refrigerate it till set and then cut into pieces and dish up.

Begun Bhaja (Brinjal Fry) Recipe: Bengali Recipes

Amer Mishti Achar (Sweet Mango Pickle) Recipe: Bengali Recipes

Sweet Mango Pickle is popular for the Bengal. Let’s learn how to prepare/make Amer Mishti Achar (Sweet Mango Pickle).


Preparation time : 20 minutes

Cooking time : 30 minutes

Difficulty : little bit difficult

Recipe type : veg.


Ingredients:

  • 4 medium Raw Mangoes (diced and peeled)
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger (paste)
  • 1/2 cup Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • Salt to taste


Let’s prepare/make Amer Mishti Achar (Sweet Mango Pickle):

  • In a large bowl, take the raw mangoes and add salt and sugar to it and put it in the sun till the sugar is melted and the mangoes turn tender.
  • In a pan, heat ginger paste and mustard oil, mustard powder, red chilli powder and the mango pieces with the sugar syrup and simmer in low heat till it achieves a thread like consistency.
  • Remove pickle from heat and let it cool.
  • Keep the pickle in an air-free container.

Amer Chutney (Mengo Chutney) Recipe: Bengali Recipes

Amer Chutney is an amazing food right from the heart of Bengal. Let’s learn how to prepare/make Amer Chutney (Mengo Chutney).


Preparation Time : 20 minutes

Cooking Time : 25 minutes

Difficulty : Little bit difficult

Recipe Type : Veg.


Ingredients:

  • 4 medium Mangoes (peeled and thick slices)
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Panch Phoran (Jeera, Rai, Saunf, Kalonji, Methi)
  • 1½ cup Sugar
  • 2 Red Chillies
  • Salt to test

Let’s prepare/make Amer Chutney (Mengo Chutney):

  • Heat oil and add panch phoron, red chillies and mix till it crackles into a pan.
  • Add the mango slices and fry for two minutes.
  • Warm water to the mango slices followed by sugar.
  • Cook on medium heat till the sugar melts and the consistency turns thick.
  • Now add salt and mix again.
  • Dry roast the remaining panch phoron and pound it to a powder into another pan.
  • Remove the Chutney from heat and let it cool.
  • Scatter this powder on top and distribute.

Aalur Dam Recipe: Bengali Recipes

Ingredients:
  • 500 gm small Potatoes (peeled and well boiled)
  • 2 inch Ginger (chopped)
  • 3 Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 Green Cardamoms
  • 2 Dry Red Chilli
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 4 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • Asafoetida (single pinch)
  • Salt to test

Let’s prepare/make Aalur Dam:
  • Heat up the oil in a pan for 2½ minutes.
  • Fry the potatoes for one minute.
  • Mix up all the spices and fry up for 2 minutes.
  • Add onion and tomato and fry up for 4 minutes on low fire.

Suggestions: Serve hot with chapatti, puris and launch.

Cox's Bazar- the world’s longest natural sandy sea beach

Cox’s Bazar, the world’s longest natural sandy sea beach (125 km), which is really increadible length. This beach is most visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh. Cox’s Bazar is well known fishing port and a district headquarter. It is a district in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. The town is located 150 kilometres south of Chittagong. The spot is getting a most attractive international tourist destination in Asia. The beach is also referred to as Panowa and Palongkee which means "yellow flower."


The Cox’s Bazar achieved its name from British-Indian officer Hiram Cox in the 18th century. He did quite a lot of social works there as the administrator of Palongkee settlement. He died in 1799. He had in the hearts of the people by his social works. To honor Cox’s role in social work a market was established here and named after him as “Cox’s Bazaar” (”Cox’s Market”) with time it turn as Cox’s Bazar.


Cox’s Bazar area is only 6.85 km with 27 mahallas and 9 wards and has a population of 51,918. Near the Cox’s Bazar city there are several places to visit which places are really attractive for the tourists and the places are Laboni Beach, Himchari, Enani Beach, Sonadia Island, Maheshkhali, Teknaf, and Saint Martin Island etc. The places are really enjoyable and exciting spot for the viewers.


Bangladesh is located in the monsoon area. The weather condition is always good for healthy life and is very seasonal changes area. That’s why most of the time there stays heavy rainfall, high temperature excessive humidity because of the Bay of Bengal. The weather is controlled by the beautiful sea Bay of Bengal. The Bay of Bengal in Cox’s Bazar is a small port and health resort.


The most amazing scenery of Cox’s Bazar is the sunset scenery. It is really very enjoyable bathing, sunbathing and swimming in the sea, you should not miss. You’ll get a lot of small shopping mall here, Barmiz shoes, you can get very nice handmade clothes, dress and various types of showpieces. You’ll also get a variety of sea food, which is absolutely delicious. The traditional pickle and dry fish of Cox’s Bazar are really famous around the world.


Cox’s Bazar is really a great place to visit for the tourists and is visited by a large number of tourists from America, Britain, Nepal, India, Korea, Japan, Pakistan and many more countries each year. If you visit the Cox’s Bazar you’ll get lots of first class hotels, don’t worry about accommodation. It’s really very nice place to spend holiday.
