Amer Chutney is an amazing food right from the heart of

Difficulty : Little bit difficult
Recipe Type : Veg.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium Mangoes (peeled and thick slices)
- 2 tsp Oil
- 2 tsp Panch Phoran (Jeera, Rai, Saunf, Kalonji, Methi)
- 1½ cup Sugar
- 2 Red Chillies
- Salt to test
Let’s prepare/make Amer Chutney (Mengo Chutney):
- Heat oil and add panch phoron, red chillies and mix till it crackles into a pan.
- Add the mango slices and fry for two minutes.
- Warm water to the mango slices followed by sugar.
- Cook on medium heat till the sugar melts and the consistency turns thick.
- Now add salt and mix again.
- Dry roast the remaining panch phoron and pound it to a powder into another pan.
- Remove the Chutney from heat and let it cool.
- Scatter this powder on top and distribute.
