Nimki (Flour Cracker) Recipe: Bengali Recipes

Nimki is also known as Flour Cracker. It can be stored in air tight container for a long time. Let’s learn how to prepare/make Nimki Recipe.


Difficulty : Easy

Recipe Type : Veg.


Ingredients:

  • 300 gm Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 100 gm oil
  • Salt to taste


Let’s prepare/make Nimki:

  • Heat the cumin in low oven for a while and then crush it.
  • Mix salt and cumin with the flour and squeeze the flour mixture with 3-4 tsp oil and water to dough.
  • Roll the dough flat and fold it and roll and flat it again.
  • Repeat this process two more time.
  • Now cut the dough into the diamond shape.
  • Make them about one inch in size.
  • Heat the oil into medium flame.
  • Fry the nimki in the hot oil till it gets brow.
  • Flour Cracker is ready to serve.
